ORTHOTICS Orthotics is the design, fabrication and fitting of devices that provide external support of joints and muscle groups. Musculoskeletal disorders that decrease function can greatly decrease an individuals quality of life and mobility. Orthotics is an aspect of Medical treatment dedicated to helping those with muscularskeletal disorders by providing assistive and supportive devices.  These devices are either custom made or off the shelf size choices.  This decision can be made collaboratively with patient, Physical Therapist, Physician and Orthotist.
